| The Hemi Difference |
| The 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 is arguably
the most significant V8 production power plant on Earth. Just
look at the advantages of its design—like 100 more horsepower
and 10 percent more fuel efficiency than its predecessor.* Not
to mention that this exclusive design is used in top fuel dragsters.

| Handling |
|
|
Ram 1500 combines 4x4 independent
front suspension with rack-and-pinion steering and an optional
electric transfer case to provide you one of the best handling
trucks on - or off- the road. |
| Towing And Hauling |
|
|
Have some questions about towing with
your Ram truck? See our towing guide for specific information
on towing and payload capacity. Then see how easy it is to fill
up with Ram Loading Zone. |
| Wheel Bases |
|
 |
Choose from a long or short wheelbase.
The short wheelbase affords you a 6'3" box while the long
wheelbase gives you a spacious 8 feet of room. But if you want
to see the biggest wheelbase of all, don't miss Dodge's Raminator
Monster Truck. |
| Quad Cab |
|
 |
Four full size doors that open to
almost 90°. Room for six. Tons of storage, including an
available center armrest that doubles as a business console.
With so many common-sense features, it's no wonder Ram 1500
has the best-in-class* interior space. And don't think that
compromises payload space - you get your choice of two full-size
cargo beds (6'3" and 8').

| Hydroformed Frame |
|
We've limited traditional stamping and welding on our truck
frames - hydroforming is here. "Hydro what?" you
say. In other words, Ram's bones are molded with highly pressurized
water. This revolutionary manufacturing process is not only
more cost effective, but the structural benefits kick some
competitor butt:
- Greater strength and impact absorption
- Reduces the number of welds, adding even more durability
- Stronger and stiffer for a more solid feel
- Weighs less than stamped metal.
