With the 2.7-liter double overhead cam 24 valve V6
engine (standard on GTC®, Touring and Limited, (shown
at right), Sebring Convertible is more than just a pretty
face. Its awesome power plant kicks out 200 horsepower,
while providing an estimated 21/28 (city/highway) miles
per gallon.
The 2.4-liter, 16-valve, four-cylinder 150 horsepower
engine (standard on Sebring) delivers plenty of zesty
propulsive fun while getting 22 mpg in the city and
30 mpg on the highway.

| Suspension |
|
|
A fully-independent short/long arm double wishbone suspension
provides the kind of smooth response and control usually associated
with much more expensive cars. A stiff suspension cross member
enables the use of softer rubber bushings to isolate noise,
vibration and harshness. Sebring's remarkable stiffness, refined
steering and suspension system result in responsive cornering
and handling. GTC®, Touring and Limited have front and
rear stabilizer bars for a precise feeling on the road.

| Transmission |
|
|
A four speed automatic transmission puts added performance
and control in your hands. AutoStick® is available on
Limited and lets you shift manually through the gears with
a touch of your hand, or cruise effortlessly with the four-speed
automatic.

| Antilock Brakes |
|
|
|
The ABS Plus antilock brake system
with low-speed traction control (standard on Limited and available
on Sebring, GTC® and Touring) is a sophisticated extension
of conventional ABS. During turns it automatically balances
brake forces at each wheel helping to keep the vehicle stable
while braking and cornering. |
