Safety And Security

At Chrysler, safety is a priority designed into all of our vehicles. So it is particularly satisfying to see Sebring Sedan achieve a five star rating-the highest government frontal crash test rating for driver and front passenger.*

The Sebring Sedan brings together style and safety so you can look great on the road, and feel safe while you're there. Whether it's the full range of active safety features, passive safety systems or the highest NHTSA frontal crash test rating, Sebring Sedan is designed to make you and the people you care about feel safe.

* Based on NHTSA's 2002 model year ratings.
Always use seatbelts. Remember, a backseat is the safest place for children 12 and under.

Headlamps & Mirrors

Sebring Sedan's structural rigidity makes its superb handling possible. Two under-body steel rails, a buttressing cross-car beam under the instrument panel and stiffening beads in the floor pan provide a firm platform to take on the road.

Brakes
Front disc/rear drum brakes are standard on all Sebring Sedan models. The available four wheel disc brakes with ABS sense differences in wheel speed while braking in a turn, and balance the brake forces at each wheel to help keep the vehicle stable.
Security

All Sebring Sedan models include Remote/Keyless Illuminated Entry and the Sentry Key® Engine Immobilizer providing added security against theft. A chip in the ignition key prevents anyone from starting your car without the proper key.

Available on Limited, the Luxury Group includes a central locking feature and a security alarm which monitors doors, trunk and ignition switch.

Air Bags

Sebring Sedan receives a five-star frontal NHTSA safety rating bringing you peace of mind behind the wheel. Next Generation multistage air bags* for driver and front passenger inflate with a force appropriate to the severity of the impact.

Available supplemental side curtain air bags* offer additional side-impact protection for both front and rear outboard occupants in the event of a collision (Available on all models as part of the Protection Group).

*Always use seatbelts. Remember a back seat is the safest place for children 12 and under.
